Academic Policy
Victory Baptist Academy admits students of any race, color, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to the students enrolled. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national, or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, athletics, and other school administered programs.
A student is admitted to Victory Baptist Academy on the basis of former record, or entrance and/or placement tests. Acceptance in any grade does not mean automatic acceptance into the next grade the following year. Each student's record is reviewed by the principal each year for re-enrollment. Kindergarten students must be 5 years old before September 30 and first grade students must be 6 years old before September 30 to eligible for admission. In filling positions for each new year, present students are considered first, the children of Victory Baptist Church, and then the public. A certificate of immunization, copy of birth certificate, and copy of social security card for all students must be in the school office before the student may enter school.
New students in grades 5th-12th will be required to take a diagnostic test. All new students are accepted on a nine week trial basis, and Victory Baptist Academy reserves the right to refuse admission t any student it feels would not be in the best interest of the school.
