Academic PolicyVictory Baptist Academy admits students of any race, color, or ethnic origin and does not discriminate in the administration of its educational programs or policies. Admission is based on previous academic records and/or placement testing. Re-enrollment is not automatic; each student is reviewed annually by the principal. Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years old and first-grade applicants must be 6 years old by September 30. Current students, children of Victory Baptist Church members, and then the general public are given priority in enrollment. Required documents include a birth certificate, immunization record, and Social Security card. New students in grades 5–12 must take a diagnostic test and are admitted on a nine-week trial basis. The school reserves the right to decline admission if it is not in the best interest of the school.
Financial PolicyVictory Baptist Academy operates on a “pay-as-you-go” basis, meaning tuition payments are essential to cover school expenses such as books, supplies, and staff salaries. This financial responsibility falls solely on the parents, not the church. Tuition and fees are due between the 1st and 10th of each month, with the first payment due by August 10th. A $10 late fee is added to payments made after the 10th. If payments, including late fees, are not received by the 30th, and the account remains delinquent for 45 days, the student will be suspended until the balance is paid. Additional financial policies can be found in the school handbook.
Admissions ProcessThe admissions process at Victory Baptist Academy begins with submitting an application to the school office. Following the application, the principal will conduct an interview with both the parent and the child. A letter of recommendation from the family’s pastor may also be requested. Parents and students are expected to read the school handbook thoroughly to understand the school’s expectations and policies. Once all steps are completed, parents will be notified of the student’s acceptance.
